Gary Payton reaffirms popular belief that he is AWESOME

So incase you didn't know, Gary Payton raised the 12th man flag at the Seahawks game yesterday (a game which we will not be talking about). He also discussed his thoughts on Seattle's NBA future. This just furthers my love of the one they call The Glove. So here's a little something to help further yours...

When I saw the headline in yesterday's Seattle Times with GP's prediction of a new NBA team in Seattle, I hoped it was real. Although you know how much I dislike the Leage in its current incarnation, it still feels somewhat hollow to be without a team.

Oklahoma City Thunder? Who gives a shit? Sorry, but you guys have just sunk into anonymity - no disrespect to the team members as they need to go where they can get their checks cashed - but screw Clay Bennet.

The Glove is a righteous Dude.

And Jim Gray thought that GP was going to give some kind of pep talk!

That was very cool, though.

Did you catch that someone threw a towel or something on the Glove just as Gray was doing his wrap-up and handoff to the booth? That was a loose group to be sure.
