In Case You Missed It In All The Election Hype (Seattle)
The Tuba Man passed away yesterday, sad stuff. He will be missed. He always had a peppy tune, and DeBo$$ you may remember him as the guy that walked past us on SuperBowl Sunday wearing the rubber bowl of Ivar's Clam Chowder on his head while cheering "SEEEEEEEEEEEA-HAWKSSS"

thats a real sad story from the paper. damn little punk kids. r.i.p. tuba man.
I remeber my very first Mariner's game at the old Kingdome in 1993. My childhood friend and I were taken by our dads to see every kid from the 90's hero, The Kid. Other than seeing Kirby Puckett and Ken Griffey, the one other thing I remember was seeing the Tuba Man as we were walking into the stadium. Pretty sad that the Emerald City had to lose such a great icon.
